The club has chosen a set made of polyester /spandex, a compressive and stretchy material that has several advantages for the practice of combat sports, it adapts perfectly to the morphology without limiting movements to allow easy switching from a wrestling phase to Grappling while preserving the skin burns during ground combat.

The Bushido Academy is a combat sports and martial arts school created in 1999 in Avignon by James and Samy Schiavo, it is one of the oldest MMA schools in France.
James and Samy are among the pioneers of MMA in France.
They are both former professional MMA fighters who have distinguished themselves in numerous competitions throughout the world, notably at the UFC with Samy, who was the first French lightweight to join the world's largest MMA organization.
They both hold four black belts in different martial arts ( Karate, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and contact wrestling).
The bushido academy participates in many competitions, of course in MMA, but also in Grappling throughout France. The coaches and their students have won numerous medals in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi and Nogi competitions throughout Europe (Open Kombatch, ibjjf, cfjjb competitions, etc).
James and Samy Chiavo represent the Checkmat world school of which they are both second degree BJJ black belts.
Within the Bushido Académie in Avignon, there are BJJ, Grappling and MMA courses several times a day all week.
