Express your passion on the mat with the Baiano BJJ gi from Bōa Fightwear.
Inspired by Brazilian roots, it combines sleek aesthetics and performance to energize every training or competition session.
The Baiano Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kimono by Bōa Fightwear celebrates the spirit of BJJ with its design combining heritage and modernity. Inspired by the dynamism and culture of the Brazilian northeast, the Baiano model embodies the passion for the practice and openness to the community.
Its construction meets the demanding standards of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: a pearl cotton jacket, renowned for its lightness (generally around 450gsm, facilitating mobility and comfort during technical movements), and robust pants designed to withstand the tests of combat and repeated washing. The combination guarantees excellent sweat wicking while offering maximum durability, even for the most intensive training.
The name “Baiano” refers to the state of Bahia in Brazil, known for its cultural and sporting influence in the world of Jiu-Jitsu. This kimono thus bears the mark of a tradition that values performance, conviviality, and self-improvement.
Recommended use: Ideal for beginners and advanced practitioners alike, the Baiano kimono is for those looking for equipment that emphasizes both technique and well-being.
Frequently asked questions:

As I explained in the previous review, the kimono is really pretty, I had a crush on it, but I was disappointed with the pants, too tight around the legs and calves, it squeezes. I wear A5, I am 1.90 m tall and weigh 120 kg. I am pro Kingz because their cuts are impeccable, especially the pants, neither too wide nor too tight. The pants are high-waisted, not low-rise, and really nothing to say. I am a bit frustrated with my purchase because the pants are just tight around the legs, hoping they will loosen up over time. Now comes the washing machine step to see if it won't be too small, if that's the case, I will have to buy pants from another brand. The jacket is great, the stitching is beautiful, as I said, crush. A small downside also is the drawstring, a piece of fabric too short to tie, you should put proper drawstrings like all the other kimonos. If you improve these little details, I will be your most loyal customer like with Kingz. Sportingly. (Translated review)
