A garment that embodies the essence of Brazilian jiu-jitsu
Dive into the captivating story of this exceptional product. In the summer of 1997, a young visionary named Guy Chautard stumbled upon the art of BJJ at a transformative seminar led by Romero “Jacaré” Cavalcanty in the picturesque town of Vichy. Guy was far from suspecting that destiny had traced his path towards mastery and greatness.
In December 1997, the prestigious TJKC martial arts club in Lys-lez-Lannoy left its mark on the world of Brazilian jiu-jitsu by participating in the “Rickson Gracie Trophy Challenge” competition. It was on this occasion that Guy Chautard and Richard Pankanin won their first Brazilian jiu-jitsu medals, thus writing their names in the annals of history.
From 1998 to 2000, Guy Chautard perfected his skills under the eyes of the prestigious Cercle Tissier, first during the period of Christian Derval, then under the aegis of the Rickson Gracie Association and Flavio Behring. These influential mentors shaped Guy's techniques and fueled his passion, paving the way for the birth of the AAM BJJ club in March 2000.
With its inception, the AAM BJJ club became a force with which it's a force to be reckoned with, hosting an impressive roster of over 20 black belts and leaving an indelible mark on the national and international stage. Their competitive prowess is matched only by their commitment to cultivating excellence.
